Caption: The burning of Cliff House, September 7, 1907, San Francisco, Cal.
Near the west end of Golden Gate Park stands one of the wonders of the world - the Cliff House - repeatedly burned and rebuilt. It is a public resort situated on a rocky bluff 100 feet above the sea. The present structure is of concrete and was erected in 1909 to replace the one destroyedby fire in 1907.
