Shingle Hollow Bridge near Hoosick, NY .
The  Shingle Hollow bridge errected in 1905 has been the subject of considerable comment. The bridge cost $17,000.00 due largely to the fact that it was necessary to sink foundations 35 feed through quicksand to rock.
