Bishop McQuaid purchases 109 acres at $200 per acre on Charlotte Ave. Location was beyond street railway lines.
1872
Improvements made to cemetery, roads built, trees and shrubbery planted, a central water system installed, chapel and vaults built.
Bishop has priests and sisters removed from Pinnacle Hill Cemetery and other scattered parish cemeteries and all re-intered at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
