      Historic pioneer in development of professional basketball
      Instrumental in the 1948 merger of NBL-BAA into the NBA.
      Founded original Rochester Royal franchise
      World Champions NBL 1945-46 & NBA 1950-51
      Directed the Rochester Classic Collegiate Basketball Tournament for 30 years
      Signed first black basketball player (Dolly King of Long Island University)to major professional contract in 1946, breaking the color barrier.
      Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame - 1980
      International Jewish Sports Hall of Fame - 1990
